Cory won today.

In Golden Spoon, Cory walked in and shot Sarah in her back.


Cory wins with three kills.
Sarah got second with three kills.
Kristen got two kills.
Sunada got one kill.
Kevin got one kill.
Justine, Jillian, Nori, Shiloh, Dan, and Wes all didn't get a single kill.
(Wes would have won the game but he was the 2nd to die b/c Kristen killed him even though he shot first and thought he hit her, but I guess she didn't get hit.)

For the sake of not having a completely dead blog

I would rather like to get another game going during winter break if we have enough people down here to do so. And if it happens, this time we won't allow 2 of the last handful to go to michigain without getting "killed" first. I'm tired of waiting, my finger trigger is itching. Let's get this game ended so I can own some fools. Hopefully next time around we won't have any rule breakers either!

The end is near...

Last night, while watching Heroes(which could be seen as an act of neglect towards Heroes), Shiloh was shot dead by Sarah. I imagine Shiloh just sat there and shrieked and then laughed and fell down, but you'll have to ask them.

So, the two final champions have emerged at last.

Cory-the King

They both get a T-shirt, unless I already returned them because no one was playing anymore....

They each have two kills under their belt now. Who will kill the other and take all the glory for themselves? They will not only get the most kills but the winner of the game. Yikes.

On a side note-Did anyone think Shiloh would be in the final three?

Tonight, at my house the final male died. Sunada was shot in my living room by Cory with his Nitefinder.

If anyone didn't know, Cory also killed Justine last week.

So, only Cory, Sarah, and Shiloh are still alive.

Cory and Kristen are tied for the most kills, two kills each.

I have half a mind to just call it quits and say you guys that are still in the game are lame b/c you won't end it all...

Sigh.

Anyways. Cory found this sweet game that is a variation of the Assassins game. I think we should play this next. Of course it would have to be played with people that only live close by, sorry far off college people.

Cory and Sunada are the two guys left here in Cali.

So kill each other or something. I still have the prizes for first place girl and first place guy.

Nori doesn't work in the adult book section

of his job. Nori is not a pervert. That part was a joke, but Nori is dead. (in the game) Just so you all know.

Nori's a goner... 6 left

Nori was minding his own business, doing whatever he does while at work in the book store. He hadn't suspected his peaceful day would be interrupted like this. One of Nori's co-workers walked up to him earlier today and reportedly told him that one of his friends was waiting for him out front. Knowing that the game was on, and having been almost been assassinated earlier in the game, He was a little hesitant. Nori continued with his work, only turning to question his co-worker on the physique of his so-called "friend" out front. they responded "It's some weak looking asian kid"

Nori set down the adult book he was inspecting before he shelfed it and thought to himself: "Well dan is out of the game, I should be ok." He got up and took the book with him, making sure to put it some where safe so that he could return to it. Knowing he would be safe, Nori strolled boldly out of the adult book section he was in charge of in the back of the store and headed for the door. Nori was mistaken, it wasn't dan, but it was another weak Asian kid. Nori let down his guard and conversed with the weak Asian outside for awhile. Just then, Nori felt it in the air. Something was not right. At that moment, a large powerful arm snake around Nori's neck and held him fast. The barrel of a Nerf maverick slowly eased itself to his temple. "Any last words?" Sunada said menacingly as he loosened his grip to allow Nori to speak. Nori breathed deeply. He was done. Just before Nori could give his last words in broken english, the trigger clicked. Time slowed as the dart left the barrel. Nori braced himself. The dart struck its mark. Sunada instantly released Nori, allowing him to slump to the ground. Without even looking back, Sunada walked off into the parking lot and escaped the scene with screeching tires and burning rubber. The poor weak asian kid was left alone, standing there with a stunned Nori at his feet.

6 left guys. I think Sarah and Shiloh are the only girls who are out of state. Justine is still around though. That just leaves Sunada, The Great Jason Parks, and myself as the last guys standing.

Jillian's dead.

Well she is. She was killed by sarah (I think). Well that's all I've been told.

Alright guys, as you all know, Kevin is gone for England. Seeing since I am the other person who updates this blog, you guys should call me up with all of your information on kills and such so that I can post it. Just letting you guys know. And for those of you who are really confused about the safezone thing, you really can't just define a safezone. You can't just call one because you want your get together undisturbed.
For those of you who check the blog, I am making the Calvin goodbye party a safe zone because it is something serious and we should focus on spending time with those who are leaving rather than the game. Take it easy everybody (unless you are still in the game).

Day three, three kills

Wow, multiple deaths today!

1)Wes was brutally gunned down just minutes after returning home from his summer camp. He dodged a few shots and went for his gun, but before he could turn the tables on his attacker...he was hit.

2)Kristen was enjoying a nice dinner at Open Sesame when Kevin attempted to enter the door of the restaurant! As Wes held Kevin back Kristen went for her gun, but before she could take it out Kevin had shot her on his second shot.

3)About 1.376 seconds after Kevin had shot Kristen, he was assassinated by a shot in the head by an onlooker!!

Oh boy. Only the third game and four people are DEAD! Reminders people the rules are in affect. There was some rule breaching tonight that might have changed the game play outcome...but lets just try to keep it fair and follow the preset rules.

It's only as fun as long as the game is played correctly.

First Day, First Kill

Today, August 11, Dan Kim was murdered. He was allegedly killed will trying to preform an assassination on an unknown victim. Sadly Dan was outed of this game on the first day and can no longer play. We will all miss you Dan.

Cory-I have to admit I chuckled when I heard of Dan's Death. He was threatening to kill me early in the game, but somehow I knew he would be the first one gone.

Nitefinder replacement spring info

Alright, I did the spring replacement for my nitefinder yesterday. I just wanted to clue in you guys who actually want to do the mod too. I bought my springs from Home depot. I don't know if you can find them at Lowes or Ace, but you can try. Well anyways, they are called Handyman springs and they run about 3.00 for a two pack. That is what the top of the bag looks like and that is basically one of the things you guys need to look for.




This is the size difference between the nitefinder stock spring and the new one. It's a big difference and it is well worth it.

Okay, so the 8/7/07 start has been delayed...sorry. We just want to clue Shiloh in on the game so she actually has a chance to buy a nerf gun and read the rules before she gets shot first(^_^).
We also wanted to see if Tom wanted to play as well, rest assured we will fully explain he can only use nerf guns and not his actual firearms.

Keep on eye on the rules, they get updated from time to time but it will stop once the game starts.

Modding 101

Alright folks I know a few of you guys may have seen the power and nastiness of either my nitefinder or Kevin's and figured "oh crap, how am I going to deal with those monsters.". I also know that some of you slackers haven't acquired a nerf gun of your own. (some of you even expect us to lend you a gun) To those of you who haven't found a gun and don't want to spend a ton of money on it, I want to direct your attention to this little number. It usually runs for around 8 dollars which is including tax.
Now out of the box this thing doesn't perform, but it doesn't take much altering to turn it into a cannon. Here's my Nitefinder mod in a nutshell.
This is it out of the box. Like I said, it is nothing spectacular. Open it up and get to work. This is it split open. Make sure you keep all of the screws together. hold onto the little nut that falls out when you unscrew the end cap in the pistol grip (the first thing you should unscrew) You can keep or toss the internal laser if you want. It really isn't that cool. I took it out to make room for some ammo holders; Kevin put another gun in his. What ever you want to do with it.







Alright, now take out the orange tube that houses the plunger. Take out the two screws that hold it in and keep track of them. Keep track of the little spring that pops out on the catch for the trigger.



Now that you've done that, slide off the end of the barrel to reveal the smaller pieces at the end of the tube. Take this piece out and toss it. That is one of the Air restrictors.
You are left with this: Now it is another air restrictor, but it depends on if you want to take it out or not. If you do, then you have to glue on the other piece that rests on it. If you don't then just put it back together. While you have it open, you could consider picking up a stronger spring from home depot. They only cost around 3 dollars and they really boost the range and power of your nitefinder. If you don't want to bother, just put it all back together and you are good to go. Now you can do a ton more to this gun but I don't have the time or the materials to explain it all now so I'll leave it for another day. Rules...

Updated 8/10/07

-This is NOT a physical contact game! Don't hit, kick, push, punch, slam, spit, molest, or anything else. This is game is fought with nerf guns, and their kin, and nothing else!
-Weapon must be a nerf/dart gun of some kind. You purchase it. It would be wise to have this weapon on you at all times while the game is session.
-You can not steal/use other people's darts or guns. Leave them on the floor so they can retrieve them.
-The kill can take place anywhere no matter how public-ie: In a dark alley, in the local Tacobell, and even in your own house.
-Safe places must be decided upon by a majority ahead of time-ie: A group hangout
-Churches are safe places for those that are attending a service in session. A buffer zone consisting of the surrounding streets stops any campers from waiting to kill any leaving church goers.
-To kill someone you simply shoot and hit them with a dart anywhere on their body/clothing-ie: their shirt, shoe, hand, or leg.
-If while you attempt to kill someone and they shoot you, then you are dead.
-If in the event that you both kill each other, the one that was first killed is out and the other is still in. If you both were shot at the same time, then you both are out. If neither of you can decided who was hit first, then you are both out.
-Once you are dead you can no longer play in the game or help other players to play the game.
-Once you are dead it is your responsibility to contact Cory or Kevin ASAP so they can update your status on this blog. The details must include date, time, and location of the assassination. If the assassin(s) wishes to remain anonymous, then the deceased must do this without revealing who killed him/her to protect the identity of their assassin(s).
-To win the game, you must be the last one alive.
-Alliances can be created but must be in writing noting the length of time and the target of the alliance. Betraying an alliance will result in expulsion from the game.
-Betraying an alliance includes:(a) shooting your ally (b) leaking information resulting in the death of your ally
-Alliances are not allowed when there are three people left. If the result of an alliance causes there to be three people left in the game then that alliance ends as previously scheduled.
